tough job, but a simple one…

To me, the definition of a being a person, is as vast as the definition of the entire cosmos. Infinite. And infinitely expandable. But, in the wake of the short period of my life, even shorter period of exposure to being a human as a way of life, there is a word that seems to capture the essence of it: glue.

I could break down the word to guider, learner, understander and explorer. But I’d rather not. Because it costs its simple, human elegance. And as a human, you are the middle ground where dream and reality meet.

A person, keeps things together. Sees things together in a harmony of patterns. A person, is never just a person, but a plethora of societies. Society of others, of particles, of minds and of hearts. And a human, has many unknown, perhaps forever unknown dimensions. And they come to you, because something has triggered a faulty communication in and in between these parts. Every problem does rise from miscommunication.

Just as glue is colorless, a person must leave her or his own color behind to see things with translucent clarity. And to carry out his or her role with efficiency. Be detached to ups and downs of life and her or his dimensions.

Just as glue is fluid and adherent, a person must be adherent and flexible to notice details and paint big and small patterns that create a unique individual.

Just as glue hardens and keeps broken pieces together, a doctor must harden around scattering bits of his or her patients and keep them together. To give holistic attention and rehabilitation, perhaps even entertainment, until nature completes its course, and send off the patient.

And all this becomes possible, as a person learns, about the whimsical nature of humanity and being a human. And his or her perspectives and personal patterns shift, and she or he becomes aware and sighted. And that, gives him or her the intelligence required to manipulate information and resources to create an effect. That, also evokes a curiosity and fondness, I’d hope, that comes from humans’ creative and self loving nature, and the ability recognizing common patterns such as those that connect a human with her or his contradicting . Or the patterns in a world, another person, or a dream that mirror those of her or his doctor, like neurons of two parties that mirror each other. The ensuing sense of unity transcends impossible limits.

A human, in the end, cares with the world for the world and all it contains, just as glue is enrolled in a period of someone’s life to make a stand for a possibility sometimes realized sometimes not. But always it’s always a period in which a person becomes soft and vulnerable like dough, and dreams and takes away the mark left on them. It’s up to the human, to mold to the needs and values and nature of itself’s dimensions, so they become who they want to become, during and sometimes after this period.

All this, has been evident to me watching life, being a glue, loving, seeing the whole picture, no imagining it and having faith in it caring despite of anything, those become part of your identity.

It’s our truw job. To observe things into existence And enjoy the ride.
